Welcome to the Bulosan Center.

May 2023 Update: The Bulosan Center for Filipino Studies is now in transition. The Center's current level of operation in UC Davis are in the process of ending by January 2024 but we are excited to announce that the mission and vision of the Center are being carried forth by it's former staff and students. Further details will be posted on this site, otherwise you may contact Dr. Robyn Magalit Rodriguez via email at robyn@drrobynrodriguez.com.

Welcome to the Bulosan Center for Filipino Studies, hosted by the UC Davis Asian American Studies Department under the directorship of Dr. Robyn Magalit Rodriguez. The Center's office space is located on the third floor of Hart Hall, room 3117, while our digital archive can be accessed  at https://welgadigitalarchive.omeka.net.

The Bulosan Center's mission draws from the life’s work of Carlos Bulosan, worker, writer and activist. We produce, preserve, and disseminate knowledge about the Filipinx experience in the United States and the broader diaspora. Our research and education programs are driven by our close partnerships with community-based organizations. We focus particularly on the most marginalized, underserved, and vulnerable populations in the Filipino community. Contact us at thebulosancenter@gmail.com if you would like to know more!
